Lea Pre-School
Lea Pre-School Room is a bright, welcoming and thoughtfully organised space that supports children from two years through to school age within one nurturing environment. The room is carefully zoned to ensure activities and experiences are developmentally appropriate, allowing younger children to feel secure while older children are challenged and encouraged to develop independence and confidence.
A wide range of learning areas are available, including role-play spaces, construction, small-world play, mark making, early maths and creative activities. These areas are planned around children’s interests and current themes, promoting curiosity, communication and imaginative play. Resources are accessible to encourage choice, independence and self-directed learning, with adults providing targeted support where needed.
Children benefit from regular group times, such as stories, singing, discussions and early phonics-style activities, which help develop listening skills, language, turn-taking and confidence. The flexible nature of the room allows practitioners to differentiate activities effectively, ensuring each child’s individual stage of development is supported.
Outdoor learning is an important part of our provision. Children have regular access to outdoor play opportunities, which may include physical play, exploration, creative activities and learning experiences that extend those offered indoors. The outdoor environment supports physical development, risk awareness, teamwork and wellbeing, and is used throughout the year wherever possible.
As children approach school age, greater emphasis is placed on school readiness, supporting skills such as independence, self-care, concentration, early literacy and numeracy, and emotional resilience. Our experienced team work closely with families to ensure children feel confident, capable and ready for their next step.

Breakfast & After-School Club
Our Breakfast and After School Club is held in the school hall, providing children with a familiar, spacious and welcoming environment where they can relax before and after the school day.
The hall allows for a wide range of activities, including quiet play, creative activities, board games and group games, as well as opportunities for more active play when appropriate.
Children are supported by experienced and caring staff who ensure a calm start to the day during breakfast club and a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere after school.
A selection of age-appropriate activities is available to suit different interests, helping children unwind, socialise and build confidence alongside their peers.
The flexible use of the space allows staff to adapt activities to the needs of the group, ensuring all children feel safe, settled and supported.
